When Neyo was 17 years old he was introduced to me by Kel Mitchell. I was hired to produce Kel's demo and Neyo was in a group called "NV" that featured on the songs. I knew when I worked with him that he was going to be big. He wrote catchy hooks for all the songs and had a voice on him too. It doesn't surprise me at all that he is as successful as he is.
I produced "Get No Ooh Wee" for Tyra Bolling for Universal Records back in 2007. I got the opportunity to work with "Teddy Riley" on this record who was brought on as a Co-Producer. He would also mix the record.
X1 was one of the most talented rappers I've ever worked with. In 2005 I signed him to a recording contract with "Ballr" records and in 2007 he would sign with "Dynasty Records". Unfortunately before his dream could be realized he passed away in July of 2007. R.I.P. my friend.
I produced "Stompdashitou" for Def Jam Records back in 2003 for the "Cradle 2 the Grave" Soundtrack. Capone & Noreaga were the artists and M.O.P. featured on the track.
I wrote a couple of songs with Elle that were used for a few tv shows and she featured on a song I produced on X1. I worked with her father Jimmy Varner on many projects and remember when she was just a baby, watching, listening and learning. Now she has her deal with Clive Davis, doing her thing.
I produced "I Aint The One" on "Scarface" , a track off "The Fix" for Def Jam Records back in 2002. The song featured "WC" and is a cult classic on this 5 Mic album.
I produced a song on "MC Lyte" called "Roll With the Thick Of Us" that featured on "The Dark Angel" series on Fox.
I produced many songs on "MC Ren" including "I Wanna Ride" off "WC's" "The Ghetto Heisman" album released on Def Jam Records in 2002. Ren featured along side former "NWA" group mate "Ice Cube".
I worked with Redman on a song that never released and I linked him up with producer "Ricc Rude" who went on to produce a couple of songs on him.
I produced "Ice Cube" on "WC's" "Ghetto Heisman" album released on Def Jam Records in 2002.
These guys are the nucleus of my music career. The first major record I ever produced was on "Lord Tariq & Peter Gunz" on there "Make It Reign" album. Thanks for the opportunity guys. It meant more than you'll ever know!
I produced "Mishon's" demo that subsequently landed him his deal with Interscope Records when he was 14 years old. We are still camp mates and collab from time to time.
I produced songs on "Colby O'donnis" that led to his deal with Convict Musik.
Louie Bello is one of the most gifted vocalists I've ever worked with. I've been working with him since he was 17 years old and he is still making moves in the music industry performing all over the country and releasing albums.
When Peter Gunz approached me about working with his son "Cory Gunz", I was not really doing much production but I couldn't say no to the man that put in the game. I teamed up with another producer named "EQ" to produce a couple of songs for his debut album.
